I noticed some of our neighbors who had gone missing.
First it was Mrs.Rosefield, she was just going for a walk one morning and never came back.
About 10 men went out to search for her, but nothing was found...Next, was a little boy named Cotton.
He was very small and frail. He would play with some of the other kids but when the children were asked about him,
they said he never came out to play. Lately it's been a little tense...I've seen fights breakout and people accuse
each other of being suspicious. My wife Elli, and I started a neighborhood watch with a few others to put everyone at ease,
but it seemed to make everything worse. About a month after we formed the watch group, 5 people went missing...
All of them were a part of the neighborhood watch. Elli, was devastated by the news.
People started to accuse us of having to do with the disappearances. I couldn't listen to it anymore.
So I'm leaving to find them...all. of. them. I don't care what I find, as long as I can get some closure for our village.

I should have never talked to her...Ever since I could remember, I could see ghosts.
I would tell the other kids...and they would laugh at me...so I kept quiet about it. My mom says I have a gift...

It looked like it collapsed in on itself, and then I heard a strange voice. It sounded like singing,
and as I leaned in closer that's when I saw her standing there on top of the well she looked covered in ink or something.
I screamed, and ran home but where ever I went, she followed me. In the closets, behind the trees,
where ever I went she could always see me. The other kids started making fun of me...they would always try to scare me
and chase me into the forest and this last time I just kept running until I got lost.
I cried for my mom to come and help me but I was alone until I heard her say "Why are you crying?". And I answered "I'm lost".
I've never felt so cold before, so cold...

It's been over a year since my husband went missing.
The others tried to pin everyone disappearing on us and the price I paid was losing him.
Sometimes I wonder if that day, when I woke up and saw him getting up early...if I could have stopped him,
and told him not to go out there. Sometimes I think I hear him and little Cotton calling to me from the forest.
I've decided I'm going to do something to make the others pay for what they did...or better yet didn't do.
No one else wanted to help keep this village safe and now it feels like things are getting worse.
I'm going to ask for help from my cousin Arthur in Autumnsbrooke. I've heard similar things have been happening in other villages.
Maybe if it's not too late I can even warn them.

Today felt off, it had been months since we received any letters or new patients from out of town...
and then she came in with that strange woman.
Arthur told me that they found the injured woman on the side of a trail while foraging, come to find out she's Arthur's cousin.
When we brought her in and treated her wounds.
Arthur's wife was particularly cautious around the woman almost like she was scared of her attacking us,
she even expressed concerns about the woman staying overnight.
Arthur insisted we allow her to stay in one of our vacant cabins until she gets better.
The next morning we woke up to chaos, as the woman ran banging on our doors and screaming for us to "save them".
We tried to calm her down and then Arthur's wife said something bizarre to her..."they're gone now".
At first I was livid that she would say something so insensitive, but oddly enough saying that calmed the woman down.
After a few days everything went back to normal...or so I thought.
